Skincare Routine Combination/Oily Skin

skincare routine combination oily skin, clarisonic mia fit, mac cleanse off oily, cetaphil oily skin cleanser, clinique 1.0 toner, kate somerville anti bac, nip+fab glycolic fix night pads extreme, bobbi brown hydrating eye cream, clinique moisture surge
My skincare routine has seem some changes over the years, as I've learnt what works on my combination/oily skin and what doesn't. I've been using this set of products for a while now, and my skin is the best it's been in a while, except for after the Easter chocolate binge. Here is my updated skincare routine for my combination oily skin.

MAC Cleanse off oil: This has been my go to for removing my makeup for years. Yes I've tried other cleanse off oils, but I always come back to this one. It doesn't sting my eyes and it removes all my makeup with ease.

Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleaner: If you've seen my previous skincare posts you'll know I've been using this cleanser for years. Like the cleanse off oil, I do try other cleansers from time to time, but always come back to this one. It's inexpensive and cleans my face without making it feel tight and dry.

Clinique 1.0 Clarifying Toner: This replaced the mild toner, which I never tried so I can't compare them but I love this one. It makes my face feel super clean and has a bit of salicylic acid to keep my skin from getting clogged. It's very mild and doesn't dry my face out.

Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Night Pads Extreme: I use these three times a week at night, instead of my toner to give my skin some exfoliation. It has glycolic, salicylic and lactic acid to help keep my skin clear and I seriously can't live without them. I stopped using them for a couple of months and my skin got super clogged and spotty.

Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream: My under eyes get super dry and that makes my fine lines around my eyes look 100 times worse. So this eye cream really helps to keep them hydrated and keep my fine lines from looking larger. I know it's expensive but it's worth it and I haven't found anything I like more that is cheaper.

Clinique Moisture Surge Moisturiser: I was having some pretty intense dehydration going on, on my skin, to the point where sales assistants at counters in Myer and David Jones would comment on it, (considering I was there looking for a moisturiser it was okay). I had always thought (stupidly) that because I have oily skin I shouldn't apply anything to my skin that had moisture surge in the title. Well I finally wrapped my head around the fact my skin was seriously dehydrated and decided to try this moisturiser. Thankfully I did because it has helped so much. My skin glows and looks much less dry than it used to and I'm in love.

Kate Somerville Anti Bac: I usually get cystic acne, so it's not a spot that has a head or anything I can squeeze (not that you should do that). This is the perfect spot treatment for them, and works within a couple of days to bring the lump down and then gone.

Clarisonic Mia Fit: After researching Clarisonics for years, I finally bought one at the start of this year after noticing how much foundation was on my cotton pads after applying toner. This definitely fixed that problem and I can't believe how much cleaner and smoother my skin feels after using it. I use it at night, most days of the week, except if I haven't been wearing makeup.
