Long Haul Flight Essentials

long haul flight essentials, herschel supply co backpack, bose headphones,
I have now been on three return trips to London, as well as return flights to Bali, Malaysia and Hong Kong. At this point I know exactly what my essentials are to survive a long haul flight. You're never going to arrive at your destination feeling fresh after a long haul flight, but these essentials will make the trip a little less horrible.

Herschel Supply Co backpack: A backpack is the perfect travel companion on a long haul flight. It can carry everything you need, leaves you're hands free when moving your way around the airport and is great for when you get to your destination as a day pack.

Oversized Blanket Scarf: I will never fly without a blanket scarf. Planes are cold, and if you're stuck on one for the long haul you will freeze if you don't have one of these. It's also great if you're travelling to a cold destination.

Bose Headphones: The Bose noise cancelling headphones are great for long haul flights. They're super comfortable so you won't get sore ears when wearing them for a long time and they also cancel out noise around you. Especially good if you want to take a nap when the whole plane is still awake.

Simple Cleansing Wipes: I don't use cleansing wipes on a regular basis but on long haul flights they're a must. They can be used for wiping down your face (of course) but are great if you just want to freshen up your body as well.

Book: A good book is a must. As soon as I get onto a plane for a long haul flight I set myself up with everything I need so I'm not constantly trying to find things in my bag. The first thing I get out is my book. Either pick one up before you go or grab one from the airport, I've done this more than a few times.

Nuxe Reve de Miel Lipbalm: I know it's expensive but it's worth it. This ensures my lips don't dry out while I fly, it's my go to.

Body Moisturiser: I love the Vaseline Deep Restore body moisturiser but use your favourite. Travelling long haul without a body moisturiser is not fun. My hands dry out like crazy and to stop them cracking a moisturiser is a must.
