Top 10 Makeup, Skincare & Hair Favourites 2015

I'm not hugely experimental in terms of makeup, skincare and hair products. If I find something I like I generally stick to it. All the products below I've been using non-stop for most of the year and when I may have used another product I always come back to these. Below are my Top 10 Makeup, skincare and hair favourites of 2015.

1. Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions foundation: I have used this quite consistently for a few years now. It doesn't break me out, sits and blends well into my skin and gives a medium coverage. It's perfect for my oily/combination skin and I don't see myself trying anything new anytime soon.

2. Benefit They're Real Mascara: I have short, straight eyelashes I inherited from my fabulous mother. I also have very oily eyelids. This is the only mascara that gives me length, volume and does not smudge on my eyelids. I use an oil cleanser to remove it and never have any issues. This has been my main mascara for a few years now too.

3. Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain in Crush: I love a deep berry lip, it just livens my fair skin up and makes me look less pale. I love the formulation of this as it stains my lips, doesn't wear unevenly and is just a gorgeous colour. I hate excessive movement of lip products and this fits the brief perfectly. I also love the colour Honey for a more subdued look.

4. Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer: I love this concealer for its pigmentation and the fact you only need a little bit to cover my dark under eye circles. What I don't like about this concealer is that it creases, but this recently changed since I bought the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder. That powder sets this concealer like nothing else. So while creasing is an issue, I can overlook it due to its consistency and pigmentation.

5. Anastasia Brow Wiz in Soft Brown: It's the perfect colour for my brows, especially since I lightened my hair, it has a great waxy consistency and it's such a fine pencil it looks really natural. I thought I'd use it really quickly considering I use it most days but at this point it's lasted me months. I will definitely be repurchasing when I eventually use it all.

6. Vaseline Total Moisture Dry Skin: It soaks in quickly and doesn't feel sticky on my skin, but provides awesome hydration. Really that's all I want from a body moisturiser, I will continue to repurchase over and over again.

7. Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser: I updated my skincare routine in the second half of this year and this cleanser has been amazing for my dehydrated skin. I recently did an updated skincare routine with more information. This bottle is almost finished and I will definitely be repurchasing this and using it throughout 2016.

8. Nivea Essential Care lip balm: Nivea is by far my favourite lip balm brand, and while I do like most of their lip balms the Essential Care in the bright blue tube is my go to and has been for years. I have super dry lips all year round, so I'm constantly using lip balm. This one is moisturising and actually works.

9. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel: Another new holy grail skincare item for me. It has smoothed my skin out, helped to clear up my dehydrated skin and creates a gorgeous matte texture to my skin, perfect for under my makeup.

10. Schwarzkopf Bonacure Scalp Therapy Deep Cleansing Shampoo and Schwarzkopf Bonacure Color Freeze Treatment: Now I'm classing my shampoo and conditioner as one, so my number 10 favourite products(s) of the year are these two. I have quite an oily scalp and I colour treat my hair, whether I go lighter or darker there is always colour in my hair. My hairdresser suggested these two products and now I can't go back to supermarket bought shampoo and conditioner.

The shampoo is a great clarifying shampoo that cleans right into my roots and the treatment, which I use everyday as a conditioner, is amazing at keeping my colour treated hair healthy and smooth.
