July Favourites 2015

july 2015 monthly favourites, beauty favourites, book favourite, zoeva silk finish brush, nars radiant creamy concealer, revlon colorburst balm stain, anastasia brow wiz, leave your mark aliza licht
We are days away from the start of August, let's just take a moment to say where did the first half of the year go? Anyway I have been extremely busy in July, with starting at my new uni, working and getting my fitness routine up and running. I've been trying to experiment a bit more lately with makeup, I'm usually a no fuss kind of girl, but I'm adding in some lip products and eyeshadows so we'll see how that goes.
Zoeva 102 Silk Finish Brush: I ordered this online at the start of the month and when it arrived I instantly fell in love. It's super soft, blends my foundation in easily and doesn't create streaks or blotchiness in my makeup. It was also quite inexpensive for how awesome the brush is.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla: I bought this from Mecca at the start of the month also. It's a really pigmented concealer and blends very easily. I do have trouble with creasing but I've never encountered a concealer that doesn't do this yet, so it's not a big issue for me. Vanilla is the perfect shade to counteract my dark under eye area.

Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain in Honey and Crush: In my mission to experiment more with makeup I picked up these 2 balm stains from Revlon. I'm super fussy with lip products because I have really dry lips, and I also hate reapplying a thousand times during the day. These fit the bill perfectly. They are not drying on my lips, as they are a stain I only have to reapply a couple of times, especially with the darker one, Crush, and both warm up my very pale face. I'll definitely be picking up more of the balm stains in the future.

Anastasia Brow Wiz in Soft Brown: I rarely go a day without filling in my brows, and always had meant to try this cult brow product, but just got around to it this month. I ordered it online in soft brown, and it's the perfect colour to match my dark brown hair. It is extremely easy to apply to the brows and doesn't deposit too much colour. My brows look natural and put together.

Leave Your Mark by Aliza Licht: Social media and public relations is a big interest of mine, as is succeeding in a career so this book was perfect for my next book. It is very informative but is written in a very conversational and compelling way by Aliza. I love hearing about her story of how she wound up in her current career path, mixed in with helpful information to help me make my way in my career.

I hope you had an amazing July,
Brie x
