How I plan for University/Life

As I headed back to uni this week, I knew I had to get organised again. When I finished uni last year I had come up with a system to keep my very busy life organised, so I have just implemented that again. As it works so well for me, I thought I'd do a post on how I stay organised and maybe it will help someone else out there. I will be studying 4 days a week at uni, working 3 days a week, am trying to keep a workout schedule and I'm also posting regularly on this blog, so you can see I have a lot to keep organised.

To do lists are my life. Even this past year when I haven't been at uni, I still used a to do list to keep me organised and make sure I got everything done. My to do list is even more important now to make sure I get everything done I want to, uni, blogging and general life stuff. I use a Colourhide A5 notebook, but any A5 notebook I find is a good size. I always rank my to do list from most important to least important, and update it every day or every second day to make sure I'm on top of everything.

In conjunction with my running to do list, I use a planner. This year I splurged and bought the Erin Condren life planner. I got the rose gold ready to ship version, which is sadly out of stock now, but is oh so pretty. I love the new horizontal layout they bought out this year, it's perfect for my uni/work life where I need to put in specific times of places where I need to be. I also love the box to the right, I usually use it for a workout that I'm doing that day, a blog post that is going live or something I just need to remember like a due date.

By combining both my running to do list and my planner together I can keep on top of uni, work and my general life.
