Back to School Haul

Today is my first day back at uni after a year off after graduating from my double degree. I never planned on going back to uni, but I felt this course would give me the tools to get to where I want to go, so that's what I'm doing. I'm nervous, but extremely excited to get started.
I have never lived more than a 10 minute walk to uni, but this time around I have a 45 minute trip that involves 2 trams. A backpack was something that was on the top of my list to get. There was no way I was lugging a tote to and from uni, and if I ever want to bring my laptop to uni this was the perfect bag. This Herschel backpack is the perfect size (Little American Mid Volume). It has a padded slot inside for a 13inch laptop, and plenty of space for notebooks, my planner and all my bits and bobs.

I used a planner for my last semester of uni, I know you'd think I would have come around to the whole planner thing when I started my degree 4 years earlier but anyway. For this time around I splurged and bought an Erin Condren Life Planner. I got the ready to ship, horizontal one in rose gold, ahhh so pretty. I love the layout it's perfect for studying and it will be my perfect companion for keeping organised.

As I'm not a first time uni student I know exactly how I like to study and organise my subjects. I have had a Colourhide 4 subject notebook for almost every semester of uni I've done. I only have 1 notebook to keep track of, and it organises my subjects easily. I study separately from the notebook I take to uni, so I just grabbed 4 of the cheapest notebooks I could get at Officeworks for writing up notes for studying.

Okay, so I haven't had a pencil case since I was in high school. I would always just shove a few pens in my tote and hope for the best, but with this degree I wanted to be better organised. I bought all of this stationary from Officeworks, and am slightly in stationary love. I grabbed some Staedtler tri plus fineliners for colour coding my planner, a Pilot Frixion highlighter for well highlighting and a Frixion pen for also using in my planner (you can rub them out OMG!). I then grabbed the standard pencils, pens, Sharpie, whiteout and combined rubber and sharpener.

Let me know your must haves for a day at uni below,
Brie x

  1. Why is there always something so satisfying/enjoyable about buying stationary goods haha everytime I walk into Officeworks I feel so calm (and end up spending WAY too much money). All this stuff looks great, I've been eyeing off a Herschel backpack for a while now. The planner looks gorgeous too.

    1. My new uni degree has made me go to officeworks like 4 times in the past week. It's been an expensive couple of weeks to be sure ahahah
I love the Herschel backpack, so good for going to and from uni on the tram.
