My Hair Care Routine

In the time I've been blogging I've never done a hair care routine post, which is kind of weird considering how much I try to take care of my hair. My hair is naturally brown, wavy and relatively healthy. Despite it being almost indestructible I do like to take care of it, especially as I colour and heat style it.
Shampoo & Conditioner: At the moment I am using the Dove Damage Solutions Colour Radiance line. The shampoo is fine and works perfectly to clean by hair. I'm not someone who really cares much about shampoo, as long as it cleans my hair I'm usually satisfied. For the conditioner I picked up the express treatment conditioner in the line, as it's a conditioner with a streak of treatment built in. When you squeeze it two colours come out signifying the combination of the two. I love this conditioner and it keeps my hair from drying out.

Treatment Mask: I love Dove and as my hair isn't very damaged I don't usually spend too much on a mask. The Dove Intensive Repair Mask is inexpensive, moisturises my hair and leaves me with very silky soft hair. I use this mask once a week and it's perfect for keeping my hair feeling healthy.

Hairspray: The Loreal Elnett Satin hairspray is much talked about all over the internet and I do not differ from the already rave reviews. This hairspray is great, doesn't make my hair crunchy and I use it on a daily basis. It's summer and my hair tends to have flyaways and frizz, which does not look cute when you have a bun. So I use this hairspray to lightly mist my hair to make sure my bun looks good and not crazy.

Dry Shampoo: The Batiste Dry Shampoo in Brunette is a life saver. I usually wash my hair everyday, I know I probably shouldn't do this, but oh well. I have recently been trying to wash it every second day and on the second day a spray of this to my roots instantly lifts my hair and makes it look volumised and clean. I love the brunette version which doesn't make my hair look grey or leave any weird caste to my hair.

Heat Protection: The Tresemme Keratin Smooth Heat Protection spray is a great and inexpensive heat protector. I spray this over my hair before using any heat styling tools and it successfully protects my hair from frying. I also find with this version my hair is very shiny and holds the style better throughout the day.
