My Everyday Makeup Routine Summer 2013

As the summer has now definitely arrived I have changed my makeup up a bit to accommodate for the change in weather. An updated everyday makeup routine was definitely needed, since my last one was quite a while ago. So here is the makeup i've been wearing mostly everyday for the last 2 months at least.
1. Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Light: I am in love with this primer for more of a review check out my favourites from last month. I apply this after my moisturiser and eye cream, it soaks into my skin in seconds providing a smooth base for my foundation.

2. Revlon Colorstay in 150 Buff: I am a long time lover of this foundation, it provides a great medium to full coverage look on my skin and keeps my shine at bay. I apply this with my Sigma F80 brush, starting from the middle of my face and blending out.

3. Maybelling Fit Me Concealer in Light: This concealer has great pigmentation and is one of my favourite concealers for the under eye area. I dab this under my eyes and blend with my ring finger until it is blended into my foundation seamlessly.

4. Maybelline Dream Matte Powder in Cream: A long time love of mine, it is the best powder for keeping shine away. I use my Real Techniques powder brush to apply this all over my face, focussing on my t-zone which gets super shiny otherwise.

5. Mac Blush in Springsheen: This is a sheer tone shimmer peachy pink blush, with a gold shimmer throughout. It is a gorgeous colour for summer and I love it. I apply it to the apples of my cheeks with my Sigma F40 Large Angled Contour brush.

6. Revlon Colorstay Eyebrow pencil and Essence brow gel: I apply my eyebrow pencil next, to fill in my eyebrows. They are already pretty thick so this just fills in any sparse areas and generally makes them look a little fuller. To keep them put I brush them over with an inexpensive eyebrow gel, at the moment it's this one from essence.

7. Benefit They're Real Mascara: This mascara provides, volume, length and does not budge. I apply a couple of coats of this after I curl my lashes with my Revlon eyelash curler. It's hard to take off due to its amazing staying ability but I use Mac cleanse off oil and it comes off very easily.

8. Nars Turkish Delight Lipgloss: An old favourite of mine. The formula is so nice and creamy, not sticky or annoying at all. The colour is perfect for me as I like a no fuss lip look for everyday, and this nude/pinky colour is perfect for that.

I hope you're having a fabulous day, I'd love to here what you're everyday makeup is below so leave a comment.
