5 October Beauty Favourites

5 october beauty favourites 2013, revlon colorstay, benefit porefessional, benefit they're real, maybelline fit me concealer, marc jacobs daisy
The year is almost over, which is kind of incredible. It feels like yesterday I was in Bali, but apparently that was like 8 months ago. Well the year has flown by and summer is here again, and that's generally when my makeup decides to slide off my face. Here are some products I have been using to combat this, and some i've just been loving for the month of October.

1. Marc Jacobs Daisy Perfume: The weather is warmer and that makes me want to change up my perfume to a lighter, more floral scent. I love this scent for spring and summer, it's light and smells delicious. I am definitely a lover of Marc Jacobs perfumes, this one is perfect for spring and summer.

2. Revlon Colorstay Foundation in 150 Buff: Ahhh the good old colorstay. It's a necessity for my summer makeup routine, as it does not budge, move or slide off my face. It's very full coverage which doesn't make it ideal for summer, but when I want a good full coverage foundation for summer this is it.

3. Benefit the Porefessional: I recently got this in a Benefit Christmas box I picked up at Myer. I have never tried a primer, which is kind of weird considering the level of oil that my skin produces especially in summer. Well for my first foray I though i'd try this one. Due to my oily skin I have very large pores around my nose and on my cheeks near my nose. This definitely helps to conceal those pores, it sinks in well and is oil free.

4. Benefit they're real mascara: OMG! I have never tried a high end mascara because really who can justify spending $30 plus on a mascara. Well this also came in the Benefit Christmas box so I thought why not, a great way to try out some products I otherwise wouldn't spend the money on. This mascara turns out to be the best mascara i've ever used. Makes my lashes majorly long, false lash like and even though it's not waterproof it does not budge, which is more than I can say for my low end waterproof mascaras. I will actually consider repurchasing this, despite the price because it's just that good.

5. Maybelline fit me concealer in light: I am totally in love with this concealer. Which is amazing considering how many concealers i've tried. This one is perfect, it glides on and is easily blended out. It has great pigmentation and definitely helps to conceal my dark under eye circles.

I hope you found some great makeup products the past month, please leave a comment below with any suggestions of products I should try out in November.
