5 Best Under Eye Concealers

My under eye area is possibly the biggest issue that I try to conceal and oh how many concealers I have tried. From ones with brushes, to doe foot applicators, to tubs, I have tried too many to count. I'm sure i'm not the only one out there with annoyingly dark under eye circles so I thought i'd do some mini reviews on 5 of my favourite under eye concealers.
maybelline fit me concealer, 5 best under eye concealers
The Maybelline fit me concealer is my current favourite and my newest purchase, from a couple of weeks ago. I am totally in love and this may possibly be my favourite out of the bunch, but i'm sure i've said this before so this may change soon. It's not too thick and not too runny, the perfect consistency and pigmentation is great. I find this one doesn't settle into my fine lines nearly as much, or not at all and generally is a great concealer. I also love how sanitary it is with the doe foot applicator.
maybelline dream lumi touch concealer, 5 best under eye concealers
This one is definitely a cult favourite among bloggers and youtubers. The Maybelline dream lumi touch is another great concealer for under the eyes. It has a similar consistency to the Maybelline fit me but a tiny bit more creamy. This is both a good and bad thing. I have a particularly dry under eye area so a creamier consistency is great for that reason, but the creamier it is the more likely it settles into fine lines. Either way it has great pigmentation and I have repurchased it on several occasions.
maybelline instant age rewind concealer, 5 best under eye concealers
Brightening is definitely a significant aspect of concealing under eye circles and the Maybelline instant age rewind concealer does just that. It has a slight salmon tint to it which is perfect for concealing the blue tint that darkens the under eye area. I do find the formula of this concealer to be not as thick as the others, so I usually wear this over the top of another concealer to brighten the eye area even more.
covergirl and olay simply ageless concealer, 5 best under eye concealers
This Covergirl & Olay simply ageless concealer is another great concealer for the under eye area. It comes in a pot, which I don't exactly like, but has a swirl of Olay moisturiser through it making it great for people who have a dry under eye area. It has great pigmentation and sits nicely on the under eye area, although if you apply too much it will settle into fine lines like most concealers. It's smooth and creamy and is easily applied with your ring finger.
benefit erase paste, 5 best under eye concealers
The only high end under eye concealer i've tried is the Benefit erase paste. It is highly talked about online and someone who has difficulty concealing her under eye darkness I spent the money and decided to give it a try. It is a salmon colour so perfect for counteracting the darkness, it is also extremely creamy. Like I said above if too much of this is applied it will majorly settle into any fine lines. That is possibly my only problem with it, and the fact it counteracts the darkness so well makes up for it. You just have to apply it sparingly and possibly set it with powder if you have oily skin.

I hope you're having a fabulous day and have found some new concealers to try out,
Brie x

  1. I think out of all of these one of my favourites is the erase paste. I have dry skin and it hasn't dried me out during the day which I really love! I've yet to try a few of the others though, this definitely got me interested. Thanks for the review!
