5 July Beauty Favourites

July monthly favourites, July monthly favorites, Maybelline color whisper, essie, rimmel scandaleyes, NYC sunny, Sigma Persuade
Oh how July has flown by. I was on holiday for most of July so really didn't do much except work and then I hurt my leg, then I got sick, then I had to go back to uni, so not exactly the best month of this year. There was however some standout favourites in the beauty world that I reached for over and over again. So here they are...

1. Maybelline Color Whisper in Petal Rebel: Maybelline finally released their Color Whisper line in July and I was very excited to try one out. I started with one, because I wanted to see if they were worth it and they cost a fortune compared to the US. I was not disappointed. They are a sheerer colour compared to the Revlon Lip Butters, which I actually like as you don't have to spend so much time applying them. This one in particular is the perfect pink and can be swiped on and you're ready to go. They are moisturising and feel great on the lips, I have not found they dry them out at all. I will definitely be picking more colours up in the line.

2. Essie Nail Polish in Mint Candy Apple: I found Myer had released some newer Essie colours in store, which I was very happy about. I got to pick up this colour which is very much talked about online. It is a great mint colour, which is perfect for spring but i've been wearing it anyway. It livens up any dark outfits and is great all year round for a pop of colour. The formula is great, easy to apply and with a great top coat (more on that in an upcoming post) lasts well.

3. Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Eyeliner in Brown: I suck at applying eyeliner, me and eyeliner have not made friends yet. But I have been using this brown, so slowly applying eyeliner to my upper lash line and tightline, to add some definition to my eyes. I found the brown to not be too overpowering and is a great choice for the day time. The formula of these eyeliners is great, they don't budge and are a very creamy consistency.

4. NYC Smooth Skin Bronzer in Sunny: This is a great bronzer don't get me wrong but I have actually been using it to blend out eyeshadows and create more definition in my crease. It is the perfect colour for my light skin, has a great consistency and is able to be blended really easily. A great multi use product.

5. Sigma Eyeshadow Base in Persuade: I either wear a neutral eye or no eye makeup at all during the day, depending on my mood. No matter what I always apply this eyeshadow base to my eyes. It creates a great canvas for eyeshadow colours and evens out my eyelids even when i'm not applying any eyeshadow. It is the perfect skin colour, especially for people with fair to medium skin and hides any veins or darkness on your eyelids.

I hope you had a fabulous month of July and if you have any makeup favourites for the month of July please comment below,
