Cool, Cold & Freezing Weather Outfits

An outfit for the cool weather
Knit: Forever New, Shorts: Dotti, Tights: Forever New, Wedges: Forever New, Bag: Rebecca Minkoff, Rings: Lovisa
When the weather is just cool but not yet cold a great outfit is to add a pair of tights to a pair of leather shorts. Not only does it have the cool factor but you are updating a summer pair of shorts. In this outfit I added a light knit and wedge boots for comfort but still some warmth. This outfit screamed a cool cross body bag and as I am currently lusting over the Rebecca Minkoff mini mac in black, I thought it the best bag for the outfit.

Top: Forever New, Jacket: Jeans West, Jeans: Just Jeans, Boots: Steve Madden, Bag: Kate Hill
This is probably the outfit I will spend the most time in over winter as I live in Queensland and the winters aren't really winters. A comfy pair of jeans, ankle biker boots and a jacket. I actually own a very similar outfit so keep posted in the coming month for that. This is an everyday outfit, perfect for shopping, running errands or a day at uni. The bag is big enough to carry all your essentials and the jacket is interesting with the mixture of military khaki and black leather.

Blush Knit: Forever New, Jacket: Forever New, Jeans: Just Jeans, Scarf: Dotti, Gloves: Forever New, Watch: Michael Kors
Freezing is not a climate I have lived in much in my life, but hopefully this will change when I graduate and hopefully move to Melbourne. Anyway a comfy pair of jeans is crucial whether you're in a cool climate or a freezing one. Freezing weather is all about layering so I added in the tall boots to cover your legs a bit more, a knit for under the very heavy and warm jacket, and a bright scarf for even more warmth and a pop of colour. Even if the jacket is taken off it is still a cute outfit with the rose gold Michael Kors watch.

I hope you are keeping warm where ever you are around Australia this winter,
Brie x
