5 May Beauty Favourites

My 5 favourite beauty product from the month of May, including Clinique, Maybelline, Nars, Sigma and Rimmel

May has gone by so quickly, which is awesome as my birthday is on June 1st Yay! My May was filled with final uni assessments and working...not much fun, but holidays are around the corner.
1. Clinique Anti-blemish solutions foundation (fresh alabaster): My skin has been freaking out lately so i've been going back to the basics and that includes foundations that I know don't break me out. This foundation is great, it's medium coverage and covers any blemishes well especially when coupled with a concealer. It creates a matte finish on my skin and helps to keep oil in check. I will definitely be re-stocking this one in the near future.

2. Maybelline Dream lumi touch concealer (ivory): This is an older favourite but one I have gone back to loving this month. It is thick enough to cover my under eye darkness and brighten up the area to keep me looking fresh even when I haven't had a good sleep.

3. Nars lipgloss (Turkish Delight): Another old favourite but a lipgloss i've been reaching for over and over in the past month. As it is colder I have been reaching for more subdued colours on my lips, so this nude lipgloss is perfect for the cooler weather. I love the consistency of this lipgloss, it is perfect, not sticky or annoying just perfect.

4. Sigma eyeshadow base (Persuade): This eyeshadow base is a cream colour, perfect for someone who has fair skin like me. I use this to neutralise my eyelid and get rid of any redness, darkness or veins on my eyelid. It also keeps my eyeshadows my sliding off my eye or creasing throughout the day.

5. Rimmel Lasting finish blush (Genuine plum): I love blush and I usually go for a pink blush especially for the warmer months. When I saw this blush it looked like a perfect change for the cooler weather. It is a plummy colour (as the name suggests) and is darker than my usual pink, perfect for winter, when I switch to darker colours in my clothing. It is a great lasting blush and I like to apply it lightly and add colour if I want to make it darker.

I hope you had a fabulous May,
Brie x
