New Years Eve outfit & resolutions

Dress: Forever New, Wedges: Novo, Bag: Sportsgirl, Necklace: Forever New

I love this dress, the bandage style and studs are very me and it was a great dress to bring in the new year. A friend and I went out to a pub/club for some drinks and ended up on the beach watching the fireworks. It was a really nice way to start off 2013. I thought in this post I would also outline a few resolutions or goals I have for the new year.

1. I had a pretty consistent workout routine for most of 2012, so for 2013 I want to continue to stick to it and push myself further. Exercise really makes me happy and definitely helps me to de-stress from all the anxieties and issues that may be happening in my life.

2. This is one most people have, eat healthier. I am a pretty healthy eater but I do have a problem with baked goods. So this year I plan to obviously not cut them out, because they do taste amazing, but eat less.

3. I have a year and a half left of uni, so this resolution or goal is to put 100% into my uni work. I want to continue to make my marks better and put more effort into my assessments and exams.

4. This year I want to challenge myself and do more things that scare me. I have often found that when you accomplish something you were scared or afraid of, you realise that you can do more and more things. If there is more risk, the reward for succeeding is usually greater.

5. I love taking outfit photos and working on this blog, my last resolution is to continue to grow my blog and provide good content.

I hope 2013 is off to a good start for you and if you have any resolutions please comment below,

  1. Hi Brie,
I love looking at your blog, you have provided me with a little hobby of my own with reading your posts which give me some great fashion inspirations.
I too hope to eat healthier and of course start my own workout routine, though my major resolution this year is to push myself and do things which i do not normally do.
    Kind regards, Tegan.
